NEMA 4X/IP66 Splice Transit Enclosure
Sumitomo Electric Lightwave’s IP66 (NEMA 4X Equivalent) Transit Enclosure feature important innovations and benefits that solve space, usability, and functionality challenges while also providing a secure, clean, and cost-efficient distribution point in which to transition between different cable formats (including ribbon, loose buffer, and tight buffer) and fiber counts, protect fiber terminations (bare fibers), and manage excess cable slack. These indoor environmentally hardened and water-tight enclosures are key-lockable and are wall or ceiling-mountable. In addition, their size and low profile make these enclosures ideal to be deployed in tunnel and platform applications.
